About the SIG
The dynamic economic growth and market opportunities in the Asia Pacific countries have attracted increasing engagement from business practitioners and research attention from academic researchers. A large number of members of the Academy of Marketing have been active in researching marketing and business issues in the Asia Pacific region. To facilitate research advancement and dialogue on marketing and business issues in the Asia Pacific area, the Asia-Pacific Marketing SIG was initiated by Dr. Charles Cui in 2004 and was formally approved at the Academy of Marketing 2005 annual meeting. New events and initiatives are organised to facilitate and share research advances in forefront disciplinary and subject areas in the Asia Pacific region.
Members of the Academy of Marketing and non-member individuals are invited and welcome to participate in SIG activities. If you would like to join this SIG, please contact Dr Charles Cui.
