The AMRC’s goal is to enhance the quality and standing of research in marketing through facilitating members’ research activities.
Its major activities include:
- Heightening the awareness of the contribution of research in marketing
- Lobbying to influence funding and other bodies
- Development of the research in marketing infrastructure through inter alia workshops, seminars and training programmes
- Establishing and contributing to international research networks
- Assisting in the dissemination of the results of research in marketing
- Funding new initiatives in research in marketing
