The Academy of Marketing Consumer Research SIG organised their first Research workshop on Attitude Change through Persuasion on 5th December 2011 at Birmingham University Business School. The workshop was funded by the Academy, Emerald and Birmingham Business School and was attended by academics and PhD students from the UK, Europe and the US who provided very positive comments about the variability of topics and quality of research presented at the workshop. The consumer research SIG is planning a second workshop in the near future, details of which will be announced at a later stage.
