AccommodationPlease note that accommodation is booked separately from Conference Registration. You have a choice for accommodation for AM2012. Through the online registration system you can register for our conference and book university halls accommodation. The cost for this will be £42.95 per night. Alternatively, you can choose to stay in and personally book one of Southampton’s hotels. Please see our partner hotels here: On 3 July 2012 there is a major event being held in Southampton - the P&O Birthday Celebration and 7 cruise liners will be in port. This will put a considerable strain on hotel accommodation and you are advised to book as early as possible. We only have 300 en-suite rooms available in the University Halls of Residence so again booking early is essential. Disclaimer: Please note that accommodation booking is facilitated by Destination Southampton. Inclusion of accommodation does not constitute a recommendation by the University of Southampton or the Academy of Marketing, and the University of Southampton and the Academy do not accept responsibility for arrangements made with Destination Southampton or any accommodation provider. These two locations are very close together (10 minute walk). We will also be arranging bus transport for those who prefer this, so we would recommend parking at your accommodation and travelling to the conference by bus or on foot. For those who do wish to drive, though, we will provide parking on campus. Cars are left at the owners risk and no responsibility will be taken by University of Southampton or Academy of Marketing.VisasTo find out if you will need a visa to get into the UK please visithttp://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/immigrationlaw/immigrationrules/appendix1/ Luggage StorageWe will be providing plenty of luggage storage on campus.
